Kamp Reynard forms part of the GOODLAND ESTATE, although it is situated on a different and separate farm on the opposite side of the Boekenhoutkloof. Although it is not a fenced game farm, it forms part of the Seringveld Conservancy and takes pride in the richness of its unspoiled nature.
Kamp Reynard’s predominant habitat is broad-leafed woodland on sour veld, dominated by Boekenhout, Burkea (Wild Syringa) and Terminalia (Silver Clusterleaf). It is home to more than 100 tree species and a haven for more than 200 different bird species. Baboons, monkeys, warthog, porcupine and small buck are regularly seen. This setting provides the perfect place for groups to break away from city life and enjoy the serene outdoors.

Kamp Reynard offers our visitors the following:
- Unique facility for small group camps such as youth camps, team building, church camps and family reunions.
We are mainly a self-catering venue and provide groups with an equipped kitchen, a hall (7mx17m), and an enclosed verandah (3mx30m).
We offer accommodation for 10 – 40 people in our 2 dormitories and 3 twin bedrooms.
On the neighbouring farm, Malperthuis, is a cliff that is often used for abseiling. Visitors wishing to use this facility must arrange with the owner, Jan Breytenbach (012 8086769). Neither Goodland nor Jan Breytenbach have the necessary equipment for abseiling.
You can however make use of one of our adventure providers. These information can be found on ....... page. Please contact us for the current rate for making use of the cliff.
